While hosting a fundraiser for the Democratic party at her Los Angeles home on Thursday, Gwyneth Paltrow admitted to being attracted to President Barack Obama.

"You're so handsome that I can't speak properly," Paltrow said as part of her introduction to Obama, who came as a guest speaker for Paltrow's fundraiser.

The Oscar-winning actress also admitted to being one of Obama's biggest fans.

"I am one of your biggest fans, if not the biggest," she added.

CNN reports that in addition to praising the President for being "handsome," Paltrow also praised Obama's efforts to fight and raise awareness for climate change and his push for equal pay, which Paltrow stated as being "very important to me as a working mother."

Following Paltrow's remarks aimed at the President, Obama delivered his own flirtatious response.

According to CNN, Obama responded by jokingly saying, "I'm taking her to the next event."

Paltrow's massive fundraiser consisted of 200 guests who paid at least $1,000 to attend the political party. Approximately 50 of the 200 guests spent an additional $15,000 to attend a dinner with the President, says CNN.

Julia Roberts was among the A-list group of people that attended Thursday's event.

Although Paltrow and Obama's flirtatious exchange appeared playful and innocent, Radar Online suggests that Paltrow may have actually been flustered regarding the arrival of the President at her home.

According to an RO source, Paltrow was "walking around on her phone and talking really loud to friends, letting everyone know that the president was coming to her house, as if everyone didn't know already."

The RO source also added that Paltrow appeared anxious and uptight prior to the President's arrival.

"At around 10am, she started drinking wine and she was smoking cigarettes all day," the source continued."She kept saying that she was pissed off because everything was running behind schedule."
