"Magic Mike XXL," the sequel to the popular male stripper film "Magic Mike," continues to film in Savannah, Georgia and its star, actor Channing Tatum, has revealed a bit more about what goes on behind the scenes.

In an interview with People on his upcoming animated film "The Book of Life," Tatum, 34, reveals that his wife tends to approve the choreographed moves her husband performs on the set.

"Our two choreographers on the movie, they're really, really good friends [with Jenna]," Tatum said. "So I work it out with them and then I go show Jenna for approval."

Tatum's wife, 33-year-old actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum, has been supportive of his role in the film because of how important it is for Tatum. The couple met during the filming of "Step Up" and married three years later. They now have a 16-months-old daughter named Everly.

"She actually loves 'Magic Mike', believe it or not," said Tatum. "It's an interesting thing that actors have to deal with. We're 10 years into it now, so it's kind of old hat - we've moved past it."

"If I was just doing some movie about strippers, then she'd probably be like, 'Why do you want to do that?' " Tatum added, explaining his attachment to the movie. "But it started off as a story that I really love, and it's grown into something that I love even more because it's a weird world that I experienced in my real life."

However, some women in the Savannah area will get to experience that world too. The Savannah Morning News reports the casting director for "Magic Mike XXL" has asked for 300 Savannah women to be part of the audience in the film.

"We have completed casting for the core group of paid background for the convention who will work Thursday-Saturday (October 23, 24, 25), but we are offering 300 women (sorry guys) per day the opportunity to be a part of what we are calling The MAGIC MIKE Experience," said the Facebook post.

Though the women will not be paid, they will receive some movie merchandise.
