"Super Smash Bros. 4" for 3DS has just been released and it has been a success. Now fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the Wii U version of the well-loved and very popular game.

The delay in the release of the Wii U version, as explained by director Masahiro Sakurai, is due to the fact that the two versions had to be debugged separately because of their differences in hardware and content.

It was explained that, had the development team debugged the two versions at the same time, both would have ended up being released next year.

According to Forbes, there has been confirmation that "Super Smash Bros. 4" for Wii U will be released on Nov. 21 in North America, just in time for the holiday season. It will be released on Dec. 5 in Europe.
