Actor and comedian Russell Brand attempted to sneak in to Fox News headquarters and appear on Sean Hannity's show "Hannity."

Armed only with a laptop computer and some hand-written notepaper, the 39-year-old outspoken performer showed himself being filmed and talking about Americans' view toward Muslims.

The video, posted online to his YouTube page earlier to this week, the British man formerly married to pop star Katy Perry stood on the New York streets outside the corporate offices about the "Islamophobic narrative" in the mainstream media. The video was then interspersed with Fox News video clips to illustrate his point.

Brand posed as a "True News" or "Trews" reporter with a cameraman when a man in a suit approached him and told Brand to leave the premises.

"Do you want to get arrested?" the man snaps at Brand. He then leaves and returns with then brings over two more men in suits.

"I don't mean to be rude to you. Just making some True News," Brand quipped. The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" actor then goes through the revolving doors with his computer.

Brand asked to have a tour and explains to the receptionist that he had been booked on "Hannity" but his appearance had since been canceled.

"Can I come up, have a look around, maybe have a look at the studio?" Brand said. "Touch some stuff, meet some of the people from the 'Hannity' show?"

After his request was quickly rejected, he is then back outside the doors, stating "Whatever the subject is, Islamophobia or it's just the freedom to be in a lobby, Fox is a difficult organization to work with," he said, speaking outside. "Whether it's canceling bookings for the 'Hannity' show or kicking you out of their property ... it's very difficult to have true freedom."

Brand is known for criticizing Fox News and Hannity in recent news. In June, he said the cable news network was a "fanatical terrorist propagandist organization." Later in July, Brand compared Hannity to the Ken doll in "Toy Story 3" and said his coverage of the Israel-Gaza war made him seem like a "child."
