Actress Gaby Spanic is very focused on music nowadays.

She has recorded a banda album called "En Carne Viva." In it, there are three songs she has written, which are "Tengo Fiebre," "Te Amo A Tiempo" and "El Alma de Taxco," notes TV y Novelas.

She is also taking on one of the most representative songs for Venezuela, "Alma Llanera." On top of taking on that challenge, Spanic is also interested in including songs by Jenni Rivera.

But she made it very clear that she is not trying to replace "La Diva de la Banda." She called herself a fan of Rivera and said she was just interested in her music.

Spanic has decided to take on music because people told her that her voice sounded very "different."

Spanic recently shared some of her cooking stories with TVNotas.

She explained that as a child she always enjoyed helping her parents cook, and now her 6-year-old son is just like that.

"My favorite dishes are Mexican food," she said. "And I love cooking so much that if at any moment, I think about retiring I would love to start my own business."

In the interview with TV Notas, she gave tips on how to use fondant. She said that a glaze made of sugar should be beneath the fondant so that it doesn't stick. She also said you can save a pasta by immediately placing it in cold water. Otherwise, hot water will continue cooking the pasta.

Spanic said that vegetables should be boiled for three to four minutes and then also needed to be in cold water because it helped retain their properties.

And she said that cooking with children is the best way to get information out of kids. She said it's the perfect time to ask how their school day has gone.
