After weeks of speculation, Bethenny Frankel is officially returning to Bravo's hit reality TV series "Real Housewives of New York City," Season 7.

"I'm genuinely excited, with a side of slightly nervous, for my return to 'The Real Housewives of New York City,'" Frankel confirmed in a statement to E! News on Monday. "Bravo has always been the place on television where I have the freedom to be unfiltered, honest and inappropriate, with an audience who has been with me from the beginning."

"I can't wait to see what this next chapter brings for all of us," she added. "Watch what happens!"

"Watch What Happens: Live" host Andy Cohen was happy about the 43-year-old mother of one's comeback as well, as he said in a statement: "Bethenny is one of the most popular Housewives in the history of the franchise, and I couldn't be more excited she is coming home to Bravo."

The Skinnygirl entrepreneur also took to her blog Bethenny.com to explain why she finally decided to "return to my roots," following "many years of hesitation" and "doubts after ever going back to television."

"Bravo and I have maintained an incredible partnership and relationship over the years, which is something I am very proud of and grateful for," she wrote. "It really is where it all began for me, and you can't forget where you came from."

"I learned a lot about myself through that experience," she continued. "I really need to be able to express myself freely and creatively; I like when no two days are the same, and I don't thrive when being filtered or edited."

"Embarking on that adventure with you and with Bravo changed my life forever. I have been through a long and arduous road since my [2010] departure," she added. "And I'm finally coming out on the other side. It finally feels right to go home again."

Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer will also join Bethenny Frankel for upcoming season in the Big Apple. However, Aviva Drescher, who infamously threw her prosthetic leg, is not expected to return.
