News broke this week that Rosie Rivera is no longer the legal guardian of Jenni Rivera's children, but it doesn't signal problems between the family.

La Diva de la Banda had chosen to put her children in Rosie's care before her untimely death, and recently, Rosie gave that right to her niece, Chiquis Rivera.

Rosie explained that Chiquis was always supposed to be in charge of her siblings, but Jenni, who had a falling out with her daughter, changed her will two months before her death. She ended up placing Rosie as the children's guardian.

When Jenni died, Rosie said that she talked to Chiquis and said that the guardianship would eventually be transferred from Rosie to Chiquis.

Rosie said she believes that Jenni made a mistake when she removed her eldest daughter as guardian.

"She's always done it," Rosie said about Chiquis. "Jenni would go sing on weekends, and Chiquis would stay home with them. She's done this since she was very young. She's dedicated her entire life to these children. She's been their guardian even before there was a paper that said so."

Rosie said that the only thing that has changed for the family is the piece of paper that says who is legally responsible for the children.

Rosie, who is also in charge of Jenni Rivera Enterprises, said that she had to put her dreams on hold a little bit but that things are changing.

"I have more help now," she said. "I can now go for my dreams a bit more. I'm writing my book. I'm involved in a reality show, where I can show who I am. My big, big dream is to one day have my own talk show."

Rosie said she wants to be a host and to touch people's lives in any way that she can. She especially wants to help lift women, who have been abandoned and hurt.

She explained that there's more of her coming in the future.
