Host Monica Fonseca opened up about the three-year relationship she had with Mark Tacher.

Fonseca explained that she was mistreated by Tacher.

"Our relationship ended in 2010," she said. "We were together for three years. The last year we got married, but it was a ceremony with just our friends. I go to live in Mexico, and the last years of the relationship were disastrous, hell."

The first two years of the relationship went well, but toward the end he changed. She said that this relationship also changed her from a girl to a strong woman.

She said that he physically abused her, and that she can actually talk about it now.

"The day there was physical abuse was the day that I left home," she said.

She said that there was also a lot psychological abuse, and she never understood why.

Fonseca added that out of all the men she previously dated, Tacher is the only one she no longer talks to.

"I talk to my ex-boyfriends," she said. "I have excellent relationships with them. I'm a godmother to their children...we are friends because they were essential to who I am today.

Fonseca also recently opened up about her show "Tan Cosmo" for Cosmopolitan.

She said that the show catered to "men, women, heterosexuals, homosexuals" and that every kind of person could be drawn to some aspect of it. She said that everyone wants tips to feel better, which is something the show touches on.

And though she's busy working on several projects, she said her son is always by her side. She believes she became a mom at just the right age because she has lived and feels like an accomplished person.

"Being a mom is a very conscious act, and that's how I did and I am enjoying it," she said. "I'm happy."
