George Zimmerman is nowhere to be found and his wife, Shellie, is trying to serve him divorce papers.

The marriage went from bad to worse after Zimmerman was found not guilty of killing Trayvon Martin in a national trial that sparked protests around the United States. Shellie is not happy about the way George has acted since the verdict and the couple's arguments have been out of control to the point where the police even got involved in a domestic dispute just some weeks ago.

"After standing by him, he kind of left and I guess kind of went on a victory tour without me," Shellie said. "I thought I was living a life with him and that we were going to kind of rebuild after all this, and he had other plans for me."

Zimmerman's apparent antics have tested his lawyer's patience. Mark O'Mara, who defended Zimmerman during the trial, said he would no longer be representing his client after the recent domestic dispute.

Shellie had called the police when she made a scheduled appearance at George's home to gather belongings. Soon after she arrived, an altercation escalated between George and Shellie's father.

"I didn't see a gun, but I know my husband," she said. "I saw him in a stance and a look in his eyes that I've never seen before. His shirt was half-way unbuttoned and he was putting his hand in his shirt and saying, 'Please step closer, please step closer.' So I think that just logically I assumed he had a gun on him."

George was detained briefly, but there were no charges.
