In the spirit of Halloween and charity, a professional hockey team is dressing up to sharing some happiness with children.

The Boston Bruins arrived at the Boston Children's Hospital Monday, but not in regular uniform; instead the teammates came dressed as the characters from Disney's animated film "Frozen."

In even better news for the general public, several photos of the visit have surfaced on social media.

Bruins defenseman Dougie Hamilton was dressed as blonde snow queen Elsa, and forward Matt Fraser was Elsa's sister Anna, the two stars of the film.

Filling the other cast members were defenseman Kevan Miller as love interest Kristoff, forward Seth Griffith as the handsome Hans and defensemen Matt Bartkowski and Torey Krug as the reindeer Sven and snowman, Olaf, respectively.

"We're all fans of it. I've seen the movie, and I'm a fan so I'm not going to lie about that," Hamilton wrote on the team's blog.

When asked if there was any shame in dressing as the latest Disney princess, Hamilton responded with "not at all."

"I think it's fun, whatever can make them smile," he said. "It's all about fun for them, so no shame at all."

In addition to the film, the Bruins players are also apparently fans of the "Frozen" soundtrack.

"I've heard the song a lot of times, especially with my niece singing," Krug said. "I know the lyrics."

Multiple pictures on Twitter appeared from the Bruins' NHL account Monday, showing the guys in full regalia, including long wigs and full body-suit costumes.

This event was the team's annual visit to the children's hospital.

"I've been able to do this in the past, and it's pretty enjoyable for us, so hopefully it's just as enjoyable for the kids," Hamilton said.

He added in his blog post that "it's fun to be able to be something that's popular and they all know it and make them smile."
