The premiere of Once Upon a Time Season 3 left fans impressed Sunday night as they watched how Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) unfolded as a menacing, manipulative character, and how Henry (Jared Gilmore) needs to be rescued 'pronto', the Wall Street Journal reports.

The Season 2 finale left viewers wondering how the group of six fairy-tale characters - most of them archenemies - could survive the trip on board the Jolly Roger. Well, their goal to save Henry is the core reason for a truce, and as Season 3 opens we're right where we left off: the group is headed to Neverland to rescue Henry.

However, archenemies being archenemies, there's a good deal of squabbling and fighting on board the ship, with clashes between Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Queen Regina (Lana Parilla), as well as between Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and Hook.  Emma finally gets the group to quit all the hating with a dive stunt into the stormy waters, as reported by E!Online. Charming of course saves her and she implores everyone to unite. (Watch the premiere here.)

In another land far far away, Henry's father Neal/ Baelfire (Michael Raymond-James) finally regains consciousness with Mulan (Jamie Chung), Princess Aurora (Sara Bolger) and Prince Phillip (Julian Morris) hovering over him. He's at the Enchanted Forest, and he's on a quest to find his way back to Emma and Henry.

Meanwhile, dear little Henry is befriended by a 'lost boy' who seemingly defected from Pan's group. As Tamra and Greg meet their end, Henry escapes with his rescuer, who claims he stole some pixie dust from Pan but the magical grains do not work. Henry shows him that the pixie dust do work as the two sprinkle some on and jump off a cliff with the hearts of true believers. True enough, they soar over picturesque Neverland. But then everything turns gloomy as the viewers realize: the 'lost boy' is actually Pan! Henry passed the test of having the heart of the truest believer, and this gets him into mighty, menacing trouble, as described by E!Online.

Viewers cringe in dread as Peter Pan says, "let's play!" but it's good to keep hopes up for Henry as grandpa Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and the rest of the group finally arrive in Neverland. One 'lost boy' however warns them about rescuing 'the boy,' indicating a big struggle and fight ahead!
