Valeria Lukyanova, the self-proclaimed "Human Barbie," is reportedly recovering after being attacked by two strange men.

The 28-year-old Ukrainian model became an Internet sensation for her doll-like looks, which she insists are all natural, excluding her breast augmentation surgery. However, she also claims that her fame has made her a target and that she has been receiving threats and strange phone calls for the last two years.

She told the Daily Mail that she was assaulted near her home in Ukraine on Halloween night.

"I was attacked by the entrance of my block of flats. I came back home from a shop with bags and entered the door code when two men rushed from the dark and attacked me," she says.

"They said nothing and did not try to rob me. It happened in a flash, they hit me on the head, several times on my jaw, then one of them began strangling me," she continued.

"If it wasn't for my neighbor who suddenly appeared, I don't know what would have happened. They saw her and ran away."

The Barbie look-a-like says she suffered from swollen lips and head. However, critics claim that she may be using the story to mask new plastic surgery procedures.

"I feel a little better, but my jaw is still hurting badly, she said after being released from the hospital on Tuesday.

I have been on the strongest pain killer for four days, but still woke in the middle of the night from horrible pains."

Lukyanova also claims that her doll-like features and pencil-thin waist were inherited.

"All genetics came to me from nature, except my breasts," she said. "I lost weight and, unfortunately, I have a very small breasts. I had to increase my size to feel like a normal girl. But I didn't subject myself to any other plastic surgery."
