The time has finally arrived for NBA 2K14 gamers to rush to the store for their copy of this year's edition. Blogs, websites, and forums have spent weeks talking about the game ahead of the anticipated Oct. 1 release.

The game is now available on PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360; the game will also be available to play on Xbox One and PS4 once the release dates roll around the corner in November.

It will be released in Europe on Nov. 22.

A new NBA 2K14 advertisement on YouTube shows a comparison video between real NBA players and the cartoon versions on the video games.

The commercial shows just how realistic the players are when a real life LeBron James transforms into the video game version. The increasingly realistic gameplay on the NBA 2K games is much different than the old games when gamers were greeted with more of an arcade-style game. The new game also phases in more signature skills, which were recently introduced as a way to give each individual player a special skill that would help sculp their capabilities in accordance with their realistic style of play.

Just like in the commercial, LeBron James is featured throughout the game as the main player and main theme. He is plastered on the cover as the cover athlete and he also has a special bonus pack. Even furthermore, LeBron has his own signature skill in the bonus pack. The skill is called the "LeBron Coast to Coast" move.
