Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother, talked about her latest curated collection with Caché and her fashion input with Destiny's Child and her daughter Solange Knowles' wedding, in an interview Thursday.

"I've been a customer of Caché for years, and I think they do a really great job of aspirational fashions at an affordable price. So I'm just really happy to curate this collection," she told Yahoo! Style.

The fashion designer picked out 24 pieces, including accessories, for the Caché Holiday collection. She said that some of her items look like something that came straight off the runway.

Most of Tina's collection consists of party dresses, cocktail dresses and evening dresses. She loves to pick out clothing items that would look flattering on all women.

The businesswoman was in a singing group when she was in high school, The Veltones. At one point she wanted to be Diana Ross badly but later became a makeup artist, model and hair dresser.

"I did everything at the time that I didn't know would come in very handy later on with Destiny's Child," she said.

She started to design the group's clothes after their luggage was lost and their stylist did not show up for a show in Jamaica.

"I had seen some camouflage pants and shirts for men at a flea market, so I went back and got those and cut them up, and made some skirts and tops and made these outfits," she said.

Wyclef Jean came over and complimented their outfit and suggested that Tina should always style Destiny's Child's clothing.

For Solange's recent wedding, Humberto Leon from Kenzo sent the bride some sketches, and she sent the sketches to Tina, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, former Destiny's Child member. and they all chimed in on what their favorites were.

Solange had the final say on what she wanted everyone to wear.

Tina is now working on a book about her personal healing.

"I spent a lot of time being unselfish but at this point I am a little selfish," she said. "Life isn't over when you're 60."
