While "Reign" actress Megan Follows was excited to be a presenter at the 2014 International Emmy Awards on Nov. 24, she was also a bit nervous.

Follows explained that she would be presenting an award with many foreign names and was afraid that she might mess up, despite having practiced.

"I think when the nerves kick in, who knows what's going to happen?" she said on the red carpet to Latin Post.

What did come easily to her was speaking about the current season of "Reign."

Follows plays Queen Catherine in the historical drama and spoke about what's to come for the rest of Season 2.

"A lot of stuff is coming up for 'Reign,'" she said. "There's a danger and a crisis that's coming up on 'Reign.'"

Follow didn't explain exactly when that crisis would come (it may be as soon as next episode).

The characters will be celebrating a holiday during the Dec. 4 episode, titled "Acts of War,"  according to Spoilers Guide. In the same episode, Mary thinks that Protestant Lord Conde should marry Catholic Claude, so a royal wedding may be happening. However, Claude is not too happy about the idea.

Follows also teased what's next for her character.

"And then for me, there's more of a development -- also with my daughter, who's now in the castle -- who I have a very pained history with," she added.

The Dec. 11 episode, which is titled "Mercy," will have Queen Catherine making a decision about her daughter, Claude, notes Spoilers Guide.

The rest of the episode will focus on Francis changing his future as the King of France, which propels him to look for Narcisse, who he wants to get revenge on.

Follows said she wasn't surprised that a show like this, which has a historical bend, has taken off on a young network such as The CW. The actress explained that it's the story that keeps viewers coming back.

"It's a great story, and it's fun, so I'm glad that it is [taking off] and that they are behind it, which they are," the actress said of the fans. "We have a really excited audience that's supportive of us, and they want this type of storytelling."

Follows said that this show has exposed her to a different kind of fan base, but she doesn't communicate with them as much as her more social media savvy co-stars.
