A sleek smartphone or trendy tablet may generate more excitement than a dishwasher or laundry two-in-one; but sometimes, those Black Friday deals are about the larger appliances we rely on everyday to keep our homes organized.

Luckily, this year seems to be a particularly good one to stock up on those larger household helpers, DealNews reports.

"Thus far, 2014 has been an excellent year for large appliances. Sears offered its biggest appliance savings to date during its Labor Day sale, which took up to 54% off refrigerators, washers, dryers, and more," the website notes. "And Hoover offered unprecedented savings of up to 80% off select vacuums during a September sale."

With Black Friday around the corner, things only stand to improve, the deal experts add.

"You'll find everything from large appliances to kitchen electrics to power tools included in Black Friday ads, with doorbuster prices that beat anything we'll see the rest of the year," DealNews writes. "And there's a lot to choose from."

Here are some of the best offers they -- and other watchers -- point to:

  • USA Today recommends JC Penney's select Dyson deals as well as its 50 percent off Hoover Air Ultra Lite Bagless Upright.

Here, you can snap your next vacuum cleaner for $74.99 instead of the regular price of $149.99.

  • Digital Trends lists some of the best deals you can find on the day after Thanksgiving.

How about a $650 in savings on a Kenmore Elite front-load washer?

What about a whopping $1500 off a Samsung four-door French door smart fridge?

This website even gives you the full picture by comparing "pre-Black Friday" to actual "Black Friday" prices.

  • DealNews says you might want to take a peek at Sears and Lowe's, too, if you happen to be in the market for large appliances.

"Sales tend to start early, but the majority of doorbuster-style discounts don't show up until Thanksgiving," the website explained.

Some of these deal are already available right now.
