Over the summer, Angelique Boyer suffered a great loss when her mother died.

Nowadays when she's being interviewed, she wears a smile on her face, but she admits that time has moved slowly for her.

"Time helps," she said on the red carpet for the Latin Grammys. "Time always helps. It's only been five months. But it doesn't go by so fast."

Boyer explained that she and her family are all doing better, and they are doing it by sticking together.

"My dad is also better. We're going to be with family," she said. "We're going to meet up with my brother in France, so we'll be fine. Little by little."

Although Boyer and boyfriend Sebastián Rulli have been working on a new play, "Los Hombres Son de Marte, Las Mujeres Son de Venus," the actress has no idea what she is doing yet. Working on a new telenovela seems to be something for the distant future.

In the same interview, she explained her hesitation to jump into another project after "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó."

"I don't think that it will be novela for the time being," she said. "You have to give it some space. Maybe the theater, adding some more dates. I don't know yet either. You have to take some time for your personal life to fortify all those areas."

Following her mother's death, Boyer immediately went back to work to wrap up "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," and after that, she went straight to the theater in "Los Derechos de La Mujer."

Boyer has shown a little bit of how she is now feeling on Twitter.

Following the Latin Grammys, Boyer shared a picture of Rulli and explained how much he had affected her life.

"That smile," she said, "cause and effect of my happiness."
