Klaus and Hayley will reunite with their daughter Hope in the next all-new episode of "The Originals" on Dec. 8.

In the last episode, "The Brothers That Care Forgot," Rebekah returned to New Orleans with baby Hope. Last season she left the French Quarter with Hayley's baby in order to keep the child safe, while the Mikaelsons convinced everyone that Hope had died during childbirth. However, upon Rebekah's return, she discovered that her mother, Esther, had tracked her down.

In the show's fall finale episode, titled "The Map of Moments," Klaus and Hayley will reunite with baby Hope for the first time since she was born. Preview photos of their reunion reveal that the parents will share precious moments with their adorable baby girl.

In the meantime, Rebekah will meet with Klaus and Hayley at the family's safe house to devise a plan to rescue Elijah and take down Esther, once and for all.

During an exclusive interview with Zap2it, actress Claire Holt opened up about her character, Rebekah, and how she reacts to seeing Hope's mother, Hayley.

"It's not awkward. Hayley knows Rebekah is saving her child's life. There's a really touching moment when she sees Hope for the first time," Holt said.

"Right now Haley's main intention throughout this second season is to create a safe enough environment for her baby to come back to live in New Orleans and to live happily ever after as a normal mom, which is a really nice idea in theory but I don't know necessarily how easy that's going to be," said Phoebe Tonkins, the actress who plays Hayley.

The trailer for the upcoming episode also reveals that Ester and Mikael will come face to face and discuss ways to destroy their children.

"Do what you want with the others, but leave Niklaus to me," Mikael says in a clip.

According to Dread Central, The CW released an official synopsis that states, "When Rebekah (Claire Holt) notices an unusual change in Elijah's (Daniel Gillies) behavior, she asks Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) to meet her at their safe house, reuniting them with baby Hope.

"After reliving memories of being the odd man out, Kaleb (guest star Daniel Sharman) opens up to Davina (Danielle Campbell) about his resentment towards his siblings and sheds some light on a spell he created in 1914. Meanwhile, when Cami (Leah Pipes) discovers Esther's (guest star Sonja Sohn) plan will put her life in danger, she demands answers from Vincent (guest star Yusuf Gatewood), who remains steadfast in his convictions.

"Elsewhere, Esther makes an unlikely alliance that could prove dangerous for Klaus, and Hayley makes a decision that could change her relationship with Elijah forever. Lastly, while Elijah continues to struggle with the lingering effects of being captured, Rebekah and Klaus devise a plan to take their mother down once and for all."

"The Originals" season 2 episode 8, "The Brothers That Care Forgot," airs on Monday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
