Vocal powerhouses Lea Michele who plays the feisty, over-achiever Rachel Berry, and Amber Patrice Riley, who plays the bold fashion-conscious diva Mercedes Jones, are reuniting on "Glee" Season Six and recently wrapped up a "special scene" for the FOX hit TV show.

Riley shared the news of the completed scene via Twitter: "Just wrapped a special scene with @msleamichele! Back at it again tomorrow with @chriscolfer."

"Glee" fans have heard a lot of buzz on social media from Michele, Naya Rivera, who plays Santana, and Heather Morris, who plays Brittany a.k.a. "Brittana," but there haven't been a lot of details on what will transpire with Riley's character, Mercedes.

"There is not a whole lot of information out there when it comes to Mercedes' story, whether you are talking about her romantic life, or the latest state in her music career," CarterMatt reported. "She had to make some difficult decisions last season when it comes to Sam, and we imagine that there are going to be many more of these coming up in the future."

As for Rachel (Michele) -- after experiencing a failed attempt at a TV career in Los Angeles, Rachel will return to McKinley High School to help revive New Directions; Mr. Schue (Matthew Morrison) is reportedly becoming the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline. Fans will also find out what will happen between Rachel and Kurt Hummel.

In other "Glee" news, FOX released an official poster for the final send-off. According to TV Line, the poster is making good use of "Glee's" iconic L-shaped hand where "the art takes fans back to the McKinley High School auditorium for one last look into the spotlight that so many Gleeks have fought to stand in over the years."

Looks like the cast of "Glee" who got its start in that very spotlight at McKinley High School have also made it to Hollywood's limelight and will continue to land successful gigs, whether it is on Broadway, TV or film.

"Glee" Season Six, which will kick off on Jan. 9, 2015, also stars Melissa Benoist, Becca Tobin, Jacob Artist, Blake Jenner, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Matthew Morrison, Mike O'Malley, Naya Rivera, Jenna Ushkowitz, among others.

Tune into "Glee's" final season, which will premiere on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at 8/7c.
