This week, Latino stars were taking the time to give thanks for their families and loved ones on social media.

Singer Chiquis celebrated more than just Thanksgiving this past week. Chiquis, whose real name in Janney Marin, shared that she celebrated her cousin's birthday on Friday.

"A very happy birthday to my #beeUtiful and talented cousin [Abigail Rivera]!!! I love you Prima," she wrote along with a picture of her cousin in lovely hair and makeup. "May God bless your path with greatness."

The two women are related to the late great Jenni Rivera, also a popular singer and actress.

Argentine soap opera actor Sebastián Rulli also shared his gratitude for his family with his more than 2.1 million social media followers on Twitter alone.

"Day of giving thanks for the wonderful things that give you life! #Love," Rulli's tweet read when translated from Spanish. He shared the message along with a smiling picture of himself with his parents.

Besides his family, Rulli also expressed some love for other people he is close to. On Friday, the "Lo Que la Vida me Robó" star uploaded a picture of a sleeping woman wearing aviation goggles and a wrap-around neck pillow.

"There are many ways to sleep. But this is worthy of admiration and display," he said of his on- and off-screen partner, Angelique Boyer.

She retweeted the humorous picture, jokingly adding, "Give me time. I will surprise you."

Boyer was busy also sharing her thanks online, however the Mexican actress left her message more general when telling her 471,000 followers.

"Thanks to those who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom," Boyer shared on Twitter along with several nature-related emoji characters. "Thank you always."
