This week, the Facebook fan page for "Fifty Shades of Grey" rolled out a series of images of the actors in character.

So far, the images of Marcia Gay Harden as Grace, Andrew Airlie as Carrick Grey, and Eloise Mumford as Kate Kavanagh have all been published on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" Facebook page. The images received various criticisms from fans who thought the appearance of the actors greatly contrasted the physical descriptions written in the E.L. James novel of the same name.

The image of "How We Do" singer Rita Ora as Mia Grey was also posted on Facebook on Wednesday and received arguably the most backlash among the cast photos.

The Daily Mail reports that Facebook users slammed Ora's wig and overall older and serious appearance as Mia Grey. The novel initially describes Mia as a young and sweet girly girl.

"I imagined someone like Alice from twilight playing Mia. NOT HER," Facebook user Rebecca Chauhan wrote.

Another Facebook user, Leanne Marie Paisley wrote, "Looks to old to be Mia! Did the casting directors read the books before casting or just went for the cheapest performers they could find??"

In addition to slamming Ora and the other members of the cast, many fans also expressed their concerns over the accuracy and overall execution of the film.

Some fans posted that they expected the film to be a disappointment. Others commented that the cast photos already ruined the excitement they felt to see the film.

Prior to the release of her Mia Grey photos, Ora concerned "Fifty Shades" fans back in July when she confessed to needing help with her lines while filming the erotic film.

"I had to have someone in my ear on set telling me what to say before I said it because I was honestly like so nervous I forgot everything that I had learnt," Ora said during an interview with Access Hollywood.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters on Feb. 13, 2015.
