Each and every country around the world has their most influential and leading dominant figures who have made a difference.

South America's largest country, Brazil, is no stranger to powerful celebrities.

Singers, athletes, novelists, television personalities and models usually get the most notoriety. Brazil is a sports-loving country (particularly soccer), and a total of 13 sports figures made the top 25.

Leading the charge is soccer forward Neymar.

He may be just 22 years old, but Neymar is the single most influential person in the fifth-most populated country on Earth. Neymar currently plays for FC Barcelona with Lionel Messi of Argentina. Neymar being ranked No. 1 shouldn't be a huge surprise as he did represent the Brazilian National Team in the 2014 FIFA World Cup leading the squad as far as the semi-finals.

Coming in at No. 2 is David Luiz. Just like Neymar, Luiz represented Brazil in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Other soccer players to make the list include Daniel Alves, Pele, Kaka, Luiz Felipe Scolari, Ronaldo Nazario, Romario, Muricy Ramalho and Dunga.

A total of 11 soccer personnel made the list. Even though Pele is 74 years old, and he hasn't played soccer in decades, he continues to be one of the most popular people in the country. Pele led Brazil to three World Cup championships.

Soccer wasn't the only sport to crack the top 25 in Brazil. Formula One race car driver Felipe Massa was named the No. 16 most powerful Brazilian. The 33-year-old from Sao Paulo has won multiple Grand Pix races throughout his distinguished career.

Bernardo Rezende also made the list. Rezende is the current coach of the Brazilian National Volleyball Team. His greatest moment came in 2004 when he led the team to a gold medal victory at the Summer Olympics in Greece.
