Adventurous smartphone users are pleased with Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, according to Tech Radar. It's only logical that the Samsung Galaxy S4 should have its very own spin offs: the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom and Galaxy S4 Mini. So far, reviews are all raves and no disappointed rants.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active best suits those who live life as a big adventure. The prime feature of this Smartphone is being dust and water resistant. It bears the IP67 certification means it gadget will emerge undamaged after being submerged in fresh water of one meter deep, for up to 30 minutes. Among the three spin offs, the S4 Active is the closest in characteristics with the Galaxy S4. The changes Samsung made on this model include the camera being 8MP (13MP on Galaxy S4), and a TFT screen (Super AMOLED on Galaxy S4). The important thing is that the insides remain powerful with 1.9GHz quad-core processor, and RAM is at 2GB, with the Operating System (OS) at Android 4.2, according to Tech Radar.

Tech Hive reports that, "Samsung has a winner on its hands with the Active: It's sleek, powerful, and won't fall apart the first time you drop it or get it dirty." It's the go-to phone if a Smartphone user spends much time outdoors, or even just around showers and pools.

Web users comment that the Samsung Galaxy S4 lives up to the claim that the Smartphone is for the great outdoors. One Galaxy S4 user said that, "The Galaxy S4 Active does live up to its rugged nature as we did drop it several times - thanks to a recently broken finger - and it survived every hit with no visible damage," as read on Tech Radar.

Phone Arena meanwhile declares that Korean company Samsung is able to 'deliver a water-resistant Android smartphone that was actually good on a hardware level,' with the Galaxy S4 Active.
