Watch out gamers, here comes one of the strangest game crossovers you've ever heard of: Ubisoft announced on Wednesday that "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms" would get a little bonus flavor from "Assassin's Creed Rogue."

This could be one of the most enjoyable crossovers for fans of the two hit games, if Ubisoft gets it right.

According to a press release from Ubisoft (via Gamasutra), players of "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms" will now have the option to "fully customize the three character classes with armour, headgear and weapons inspired by Assassin's Creed Rogue."

It's part of a limited time offer for the free to download and free to play installment of the "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" series.

Called the "Assassin's Creed Rogue Pack," this optional bundle includes new weapons and suit bundles for your Ghosts, inspired by the eighth major installment of the assassin's creed series.

The pack includes "Assassin's Creed Rogue" helmets and tactical suits, which look awesome and intimidating. Here's a preview of the helmets on offer:

It also comes with five themed weapons; the AK-12-H SP ACR, PKM-H SP ACR, M14-H SP ACR, M3A1-H SP ACR and M960-H SP ACR. Judging from the preview, these don't stand out as much as the helmets do, but for fans of both series who have to have it all, it's available.

Finally, there's one classic "Assassin's Creed Rogue" tier II pistol available -- the Fiveseven ACR -- for what it's worth.

Ubisoft says these items are available starting today, so go into "Ghost Recon Phantoms," download it at the official site online, or on Steam for free to see them.

But do it quickly. These exclusive items are only available for four weeks starting today, according to Ubisoft.
