A missing 11-month-old Houston baby boy was found alive in Mexico on Friday, four days after his mother's body was found stuffed into a refrigerator in the family's apartment. The young boy's father, Patrick Lambert, was questioned by police.

Lambert was detained on Friday by Mexican authorities at a different location than where his son, Achilles Lambert, was found in good condition in the Mexican state of Queretaro, roughly 10 hours south of the U.S. border, according to the Mexican authorities. The father was taken into custody to answer questions by Houston police in the disappearance of the boy and the death of his wife Anastacia Oaikhena.

The 27-year-old woman was found in the refrigerator with multiple stab wounds on Monday afternoon after maintenance employees reported an odor coming from the apartment. An autopsy revealed she died because of a stab wound in the neck. The power in the apartment had been shut off since Nov. 20 because of late payments, according to local media reports.

Lambert, 38, has not been charged in the case but was named a person of interest in his estranged wife's death. Houston police joined forces with the FBI and Harris County's Special Crimes Division to help execute a search for the missing child and his father. Authorities issued an Amber Alert for the boy to help gather any civilian information that could lead to his discovery.

It was difficult to track down Lambert, as officers didn't know what kind of vehicle he was driving. Records show that he also lived in several placed in recent years, including Florida, New York and Hawaii. Interviews with neighbors revealed that Patrick was talking about leaving town about two weeks before Anastacia's body was found.

While both Lambert and young Achilles are expected to return to Houston, police didn't say where exactly or how the child and his father were found.
