While fans are anxiously awaiting her eighth studio album to be released, Rihanna unveiled the possible cover art for her latest project.

The Barbadian star, who is currently in Paris, took to her Instagram account on Thursday to share a snapshot of herself and what could be the artwork for her upcoming record. The mysterious image sees her rocking a dark lipstick and dreadlocks. She wrote the following caption, a simple hashtag of the rumored title, "#r8":

 #r8

While in the City of Lights, RiRi also filmed what could be her new music video for a track off the follow-up to her 2012 "Unapologetic" album. She was surrounded by a crowd of fans at the Trocadero Carousel, as a fan posted a video clip below:

The "Pour It Up" singer recently teased a single titled "Kiss It Better" on Instagram. The short snippet sees Portuguese-American guitarist Nuno Bettencourt in the studio with RiRi's vocals in the background:

According to songwriter Glass John, who previously worked on Chris Brown's "Do Better" featuring Brandy and Pusha T's "Let Me Love You" featuring Kelly Rowland, the song was produced by both him and frequent Kanye West collaborator Jeff Bhasker.

In addition, Rihanna may release her highly anticipated effort on Christmas. Online retailer Play.com reportedly put up a simple pre-order portal for her album as well as its deluxe version. Although the album title and tracklist are yet to be announced, the listing states that the new LP was "released on 24 November 2014" but will not be shipped until Dec. 26, as they are "awaiting stock."
