Pedro Fernandez's wife and daughters have been blamed for Fernandez's sudden departure from "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo," but he has continued to say that his family has been nothing but supportive.

Fernandez has revealed that the song "Feliz Navidad Amor" is dedicated to his family.

"I wrote the song thinking with my heart, so that every year my wife and daughters remember me with these lyrics because it is a time that the heart is filled with nostalgia," he said, according to El Universal.

Though he describes the Christmas songs he and his family hear as wonderful because they "accompany your early childhood, adolescence and adult life," he wanted to do something different for his family.

Fernandez said he is also ready to deepen his mark in music.

"And what better way than through songs, which not only I'll sing, but also other singers in other eras," he said.

His latest album is titled "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo," even though he is no longer on the telenovela of the same name. Fernandez said it is his most personal album.

"In this album, we looked for balance," he said. "We wanted romantic songs and also rhythmic variations that would make the audiences want to listen to the entire album."

The singer said he took a risk because it has a very personal touch. His album shows people how he feels.

Fernandez was replaced with David Zepeda after the singer said he had to leave the show for health reasons.

"The last five months I have worked a lot," Fernandez said in a press conference, according to Excelsior. "The level of work I've done is impressively high, and sooner or later, I've been feeling it, so that's the reason. Understand that the telenovela can't wait. ... It requires too much time, and it's not possible for me."
