Keke Palmer used social media to respond to a fan who called her out for not having a "great image" for girls who look up to Cinderella.

In an Instagram post the actress wrote, "This video is old but it clearly shows the Leo in me and the Virgo in her lmao miss you Ms. B****. Can't wait til January @kekepalmer" A1 since day oneeee @christol_sims."

One user, @Keetaylee, was not happy with the Instagram video. The user said, "Not a great image! Little girls are big fans of yours now. While at your show, I actually saw a group of 5 or 6 little girls on your IG before the show began."

According to The Shade Room, Palmer shot back.

"I'm not Cinderella honey," she said. "I'm Keke Palmer and if they're that young to the point that they cannot tell the difference between the two, their parents shouldn't allow them to be on Instagram."

The former Nickelodeon star broke barriers when she took on the role of Cinderella on Broadway, making her the first black actress to play the role on the Great White Way, Essence reported. The actress is on the cover of the magazine's January issue, and she talked about why she decided to go for Cinderella.

"I know that the role of Cinderella is primarily for a Caucasian girl, but it didn't stop me from going in and it didn't stop them from seeing me," she said. "There is a bit of intimidation. You think about Denzel, Viola Davis, and you think, 'Only great people can do Broadway.' ... That was the scariest thing about it, but I'm the type who thrives on pressure."

The host of BET's "Just Keke" is seeing a lot of progress in her career.

Palmer debuted in "Cinderella" on Sept. 9, Just Jared Jr. reported.

She spoke to Pret-a-Reporter about transforming into Cinderella.

"This is me in my own head: 'OMG girl, you look so beautiful! What are you going to do when you get out there?'" Palmer said. "This is a dream come true girl. Girl, just enjoy it. Just trying to live in the moment. It's a moment I'll never forget.'"
