Dr. Evil visited “Saturday Night Live” in New York City this past Saturday to mock the incident concerning “The Interview,” North Korea and Sony. The film was pulled from theaters after the hackers threatened 9/11-like attacks on moviegoers if the film was shown.

Mike Myers reprised his Dr. Evil character from “Austin Powers” at the beginning of the last "SNL" and addressed North Korea while petting a fake Mr. Bigglesworth, according to the New York Daily News. The evil mastermind took offense at North Korea’s alleged attempt to thwart the release of Sony’s film mocking the communist country and its leader.

"I've preempted this program because I'm furious that Sony Pictures and North Korea have given evil organizations a bad name,” the nefarious villain said, adding the fight over the film is like “watching two bald men fight over a comb.”

"Let's start with you, North Korea,” he said, addressing the nation believed to be behind the Sony hack. “You're one of the most evil countries in the world and your act of war is to kill a movie? It's easy to kill a movie. Just move it to January.”

During his speech, Dr. Evil talked about meeting Kim Jong-Un, North Korea’s leader, while on a Viking River Cruise and criticized the hackers for their name, the Guardians of Peace (GOP). He then turned to Sony.

“Why pick on Sony? They haven't had a hit since the Walkman,” he said. However, he also turned on the studio, mocking the film’s premise and actor, James Franco.

Joking aside, the film incident has sparked an increase in bellicose language. Since the U.S. said North Korea was involved in the hack, Pyongyang has threatened the U.S., according to ABC News, saying they would target “the White House, the Pentagon and … all of mainland U.S.A.”

North Korea’s latest threat comes with a demand the U.S. participate in a joint investigation on the hack. Washington has not issued a response.
