Over the weekend, the Jonas Brothers had been arguing over to a musical disagreement within the band, and a representative confirmed that the brothers cancelled their planned concert tour, as a result.

"There is a deep rift within the band," spokesman Jesse Derris said. "There was a big disagreement over their music direction."

The national tour was originally planned to end on November 6 in Seattle, and the first of their 19-date tour was slated to start on Friday in Upper Darby, Penn.

The Jonas Brothers, who became teen sensation with the Disney channel's "Camp Rock" movie series, began their music careers by signing with Disney's Hollywood Records. Their albums, including solo projects, have sold 20 million units worldwide.

For a while, Nick, Joe and Kevin each went their separate ways to pursue their own interests, and to focus on solo projects. Nick and Joe released solo albums and pursued acting careers. Kevin and his wife Danielle, who got married in 2009, starred in their own reality series "Married To Jonas," which is in its second season on E! The couple announced in July that they are expecting a baby girl.

The trio came back together musically -- they made their comeback at the reunion show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City last October.

"It feels really good," Kevin said on the band's comeback. "It's been a long time coming. We've all been doing some individual stuff and on our own journeys, but now we're coming back together and the show's kind of the kick off to that."

Since then, the Jonas Brothers released two singles "Pom Poms" and "First Time," which are expected to appear on their upcoming fifth studio album, "V." Despite the cancellation of the tour, there will be more tracks coming from "V."

Derris said that the future of the band "remains to be seen" and it's all about "creative differences" in the band.

Fans who already bought tickets can get refunds from the vendor who sold them, according to the representative.
