Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg used his keynote speech at the MIPCOM conference this week as a platform to pitch an offer: He would pay $75 million for more "Breaking Bad."

On the surface, Katzenberg's willingness to pay $75 million for extra "Breaking Bad" episodes just sounds like some rich guy's privilege to spoil himself with more of his favorite television show.

But believe it or not, Katzenberg has the hypothetical situation all figured out in a way that he thinks would be profitable. But in order for his plan to work, he says, the television show would have to be structured in a completely different way than it has been all along.

"I have one criteria: you have to deliver them to me in six-minute segments," he said. "My idea was literally that you'd pay 50 cents a day for 30 days, so it would be $15, and I actually think there are 10 million people around the world that would have done that," he said.

Katzenberg continued like a salesperson hoping to get an important deal.

"That's $150 million, so the $75 million I was prepared to pay would have delivered a 100 percent return on investment," he said. "And I'm trying to get people to think about this space in a new way by telling that story. It's emblematic of an opportunity coming."

"You'd pay 50 cents for six minutes of Breaking Bad! And why? Because it's the best show on television," he proclaimed.

For those of you who are not wild Breaking Bad-obsessed fanatics, the show recently wrapped up with a finale in Season 5. The producers, according to The Guardian, quickly shot down the idea and said the show's finale is quite literally the end.

If you want to catch up and you happen to have Netflix, several seasons can be found there.
