The Indianapolis Colts are just one week away from what is the most anticipated NFL game of the year, but not before an important Monday Night Football matchup against the San Diego Chargers.

The first-place Colts are looking to take care of business against a mediocre and struggling Chargers team that has gotten off to only a 2-3 start to the season.

Andrew Luck will aim to build on last week's two-touchdown performance against the Seattle Seahawks in what was a big victory for Indianapolis.

The Colts are hoping to win the game with ease in order to have the momentum heading into next week's showdown with Peyton Manning's undefeated Denver Broncos in Indy. The Colts organization is planning to have a special ceremony honoring Manning's achievements during his time with the team.

"We're going to have a great tribute to him," owner Jim Irsay told USA Today. "It's going to be something where you go into it wanting to have a lot of fun, where you love Peyton as a Colt fan, but now we're competing against him."

Irsay expects the crowd will give Manning a warm welcome back to his old city where he won two AFC Conference titles and a Super Bowl.

"It'll be tremendous," Irsay said. "They will cheer, as deserved. When he comes back on the field, I think there will be a boisterous standing ovation, as there should be. He means so much to our franchise.
