Beyoncé will be releasing new music before the end of the year (cue screaming fans). According to sources, Queen Bey is set to join the pool of artists who are dropping new records this year.

Following the success of her fourth studio album, 4, Beyoncé took a break from releasing new music to give way to a string of concerts around the world. However, recent reports reveal that the Grammy Award-winning singer is all set to release a new song by December 3.

"Many in the music industry have gotten intel that Beyoncé will put out a single in the fourth quarter, sometime from late November to early December," a source tells New York Daily News.

Notably, the insider adds that the single is strategically dated to release by the end of 2013, after all other artists have released new music - Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus this month, Lady Gaga and Eminem in November. But this isn't to take after the trend of consumers purchasing new records, but to let everyone know who the true queen of the music industry is.

"It's an official single and it's timed perfectly to push out all the others. It will be out before the end of the year," the source explained, adding that "there is a noticeable hole in Columbia Records' Q4 release schedule and it's going to be Beyoncé's release."

Gigwise.com also notes that Jay-Z's better half has been filming several music videos the past weeks. Beyoncé was seen shooting several scenes in New York's Coney Island fair and London's Greenham Common. If reports prove to be true, then these filming sets could be for the singer's new single's music video.

As for a new album, Beyoncé's reps have already confirmed to NY Daily News that the she is working on her fifth studio album already. However, no release date for the record has been confirmed.
