The second episode of "American Horror Story: Coven" showcased a frenzy of cold-blooded creatures - snakes, alligators, vengeful witches - and the resurrection of the dead but perfect boyfriend, reports Entertainment Weekly.

The opening scene is classic American Horror Story-in the bayou, a poacher gets chomped down by the very animal he hunts and kills, even if it's long dead. Of course, only a clever witch could be behind the gator revenge, and it's revealed to be Misty Day (Lily Rabe). While some alligator hunters are being murdered in the bayou, Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), Madison (Emma Roberts) and Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) are getting educated at Miss Robichaux's.  Zoe and Madison disagree about the fate of poor Kyle (Evan Peters), whom Madison killed, reports the Huffington Post.

A flashback shows one moment in the life of Queenie back in Detroit in 2012, where she worked as a manager in a fast food chain. While encountering an unreasonable customer, she boiled his arm off through her power of pain transference. Queenie then reveals she is actually a descendant of Tituba, a slave who lived in Salem, and the first to be pointed out a witch.

Detectives visit the school in their investigation of Kyle's death, and they are particularly interested in Zoe, who broke down and made some sort of confession about Kyle's murder and about being a witch. Luckily, Fiona enters the room and controls the scenario. She spits into two glasses of water and brainwashes the detectives through magic.

Fiona is then revealed to have taken Madame Lalaurie hostage, all tied up in a chair. The two women have an interesting conversation where the audience finds out that Lalaurie was cursed to be immortal by a voodoo queen named Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett). After having LaLaurie's family tortured, killed and strung up like gloomy puppets, Laveau buries her alive and she suffers for 180 years inside the box. Fiona visits Laveau later, who owns a salon in the modern times. The two powerhouse women exchange charged lines about witch ancestry. Fiona offers Laveau something precious for the fountain of youth secret, but Laveau declines.

An infertile Cordelia (Sarah Paulson), on the other hand, is busy trying to conceive a child with her husband through dark magic, combining sex with snakes in the ritual.

Meanwhile, Madison convinces Zoe to break into a morgue and put together the best boy parts to create the perfect boyfriend. They find Kyle's head, shop around for limbs and other necessary organic implements and sew it all together. After so, Madison chants a spell to bring back the dead. The creature does not stir, but only comes alive when Zoe kisses him. The new couple then escapes in a stolen car. Misty Day, who suddenly appears in the backseat, explains that she had been 'called' by Zoe. She then brings the two teenagers to her bayou shack, and promises to take care of Kyle for Zoe.

The coven, ladies and gentlemen, is now complete.
