Just a few weeks before releasing his highly-anticipated album, "Marshall Mathers LP 2," Eminem turns 41 today.

Eminem has become one of hip-hop's greatest lyricists and emcees, debuting with his major record release "The Slim Shady LP" in 1999. He has released eight platinum albums so far, including his six solo albums and two LPs with his rap group D12, with eight releases debuting at #1 spot on the Billboard Charts. In 2003, the Detroit rapper also won an Oscar for Best Song with his track "Lose Yourself" from the acclaimed movie that he starred in, "8 Mile."

Eminem's fans took Twitter to show "Rap God" some love, celebrating his 41st birthday.
