Colombian artist Maluma is moving to Miami, and many believe this is so he can be closer to Belinda.

In a recent interview with "El Gordo y La Flaca," the musician addressed the relationship rumors.

"No, I'm single," he told the Univision show. "Belinda and I are good friends. I care about her a lot, and there's a really cool collaboration coming up that you have to watch out for."

Maluma wouldn't elaborate if the collaboration would be on her album or his. Instead, he just told people to keep an eye out for it. He was further pressed on the rumors, as some believe that he is giving off clues on his Instagram.

"It's not with her," Maluma said.

Then, the reporter asked if there was another woman in his life, but Maluma said no. He added that his mother has Instagram.

The singer also joked about moving to the United States by saying that he supposedly has a house but has no idea where it is.

Recently, Maluma also spoke to El Universal about not labeling himself a reggaeton singer.

"I've always said it, I'm not a reggaeton singer," he said to the Colombian publication. "What I do is urban pop, which allows me great versatility, because I want to keep exploring with salsa and electronic music. It is a line or a genre that I want to create, develop a movement that has my mark. It's difficult making that step because the idea is to mark the differences."

The 20-year-old singer said he has been working on his career for the past four years. It has been marked by sacrifices and tears, and Maluma is aware of the road that is still ahead of him.

"The most difficult thing has been distancing myself from my family," he said. "I have spent a lot of time without them, always in hotels and missing unique family moments."
