There have been a lot of theories about the December 2012 plane crash that killed Jenni Rivera, but her sister, Rosie Rivera, is denying the singer was murdered.

"[We've] heard a lot that it was an attack on Jenni's life, or against one of the people who was flying with her, but we dismiss that," Rosie said, according to El Universal. "We don't want to prematurely reveal anything we know because on Dec. 8, we presented a lawsuit against the aviation company, against those responsible for the maintenance and the company who made the plane (Learjet 25), and we are going to wait for the judge to tell us what happened."

Jenni's family has tried to find answers for the plane crash, but they have come up short so far.

"We think it was negligence," Rosie said. "But whether it was because the pilot was already older or there was too much fog, we want to know the truth."

Until recently, Rosie was in charge of Jenni's businesses and her children, but now Jenni's oldest daughter, Chiquis, is responsible for her siblings.

In December, Mexican officials said they were done investigating the plane crash. The results were inconclusive.

"We haven't been able to [find out what happened] and the investigation is over," said Gilberto Gomez Meyer, director of civil aviation in Mexico, in an episode of "El Gordo y La Flaca." "But the impact was so violent, the velocity of the impact was, surely, supersonic. It was so big that the only thing we could find ... that was identifiable from the black box of the recorder was the covering, or the outer layer."

Meyer said anything else that could have revealed more about the case was destroyed in the crash.
