Fox has released the trailer to "Fantastic Four," spawning excitement from many fans and creating anticipation for the film.

However, along with that news was the announcement that renowned composer Philip Glass would score the film with Marco Beltrami.

Director Josh Trank revealed that he was always a fan of Glass' music and was excited to work with the composer. He told Collider that in order to convince Glass to work on the film he called the composer and sent him his first film "Chronicle." He said, "I got his number from his manager, I sent him "Chronicle" and had a call with him. It was one of the coolest calls I've ever had in my life because he's Philip Glass and he had just watched my movie."

He added, "The first words out of his mouth were, 'I just saw your movie and it's very philosophical.' We were talking about the philosophy of 'Chronicle' and it gave me goosebumps. We invited him out to set and he came to set for like three days and had a great time. He was blown away by the scale of the film. I've been working with him for almost a year now and he's so inspiring. He's such a humble, amazing guy."

Glass is known for being specific with the projects he chooses and has not worked on a big blockbuster before. As a matter of fact, his last American films were Woody Allen's "Cassandra's Dream" and "No Reservations." He has been nominated for the Academy Award for his work on "Kundun," "The Hours," and "Notes on a Scandal." He has also scored "The Truman Show," "The Illusionist" and "Secret Window." He recently scored the Academy Award nominee "Leviathan" and the Russian film "Elena."

Glass is also known outside of the film world for his chamber music, symphonies and for his operas "Eisenstein on the Beach," "Satyagraha" and "Appomattox." He has been championed by the Chronos Quartet, who performs his music very frequently.

Beltrami, who will team up with Glass, has scored Oscar nominations for his work on "3:10 Yuma" and "The Hurt Locker." He has written scores for "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," "The Homesman," and "Snowpiercer." He has also written music for horror films such as "Resident Evil" and the first three "Scream" films.

"Fantastic Four" tells the story of four young scientists who achieve superhuman abilities through a teleportation experiment gone haywire. They must now use these abilities to save the world from an uprising tyrant. The film was written by Simon Kinberg, who is best known for his work on "X-Men Days of Future Past" and stars Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell. The film also stars Tim Blake Nelson and Toby Kebbell.

The trailer looks very different from the first films that were released back in 2005 and 2007. This time the film looks a lot darker and it seems that it will focus more on the characters rather than on their superpowers.
