Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show this Sunday promises to be jam-packed with pageantry: glamorous Jeremy Scott-designed outfits, live animals, and a Lenny Kravitz cameo, reports Mashable.

Teasing the 12-minute spectacle at a press conference Thursday, Perry revealed a surprise female guest would be joining the show.

"I wanted to bring someone back," she said. "A throwback of sorts that definitely needed some more shine. All I can say is it will be a real female fun night. It's a bit old school. When this person enters the stage and you hear the first ring of the chord I think jaws will drop and faces will melt."

Spoiler alert: It's Missy Elliott, reports The Associated Press, and she's expected to "Work It." Elliott's involvement has not been officially announced by the NFL yet.

We can only speculate what song Perry and Elliott will tackle together. Elliott was featured on the remix of Perry's 2011 "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," so the pair may perform that song on Sunday.

The "Dark Horse" singer confirmed she will perform "Roar" and "Firework" and hinted at more hits when she said, "I have a lot of songs to cover on Sunday so there will definitely be some medley of sorts."

Her setlist and guest performers will undoubtedly provide a fantastic show filled with fireworks as she belts out the empowering hit "Firework," elaborate and glitzy costumes, acrobatics and live animals for the performance of "Roar."

"I'm probably going to be the only person in Super Bowl halftime history that will ever bring a lion and sharks to the show," the 30-year-old singer said. "It's going to be wild out there."

Perry said she intends to play on her strengths, which she defines as "humor, incredible joy, and I think my songs are anthemic."

Her goal, she said, is to have 100 million people all smiling in unison.

When asked if any player has romantically grabbed her attention during Super Bowl week, Perry said, "I'm just here so I don't get fined," mocking Seattle Seahawks player Marshawn Lynch's go-to media reply.
