Selena Gomez may very well be at the top of her career, but it doesn't mean she's invincible; especially when it comes to falling in love and getting her heart broken. In a recent interview, the "Come & Get It" singer talked about falling in love, getting her heart broken (by Justin Bieber?) and being a rebel.

Since her mega publicized split with pop sensation Justin Bieber, Selena has been hit with an array of rumors about her love life. From dating former co-star David Henrie, to getting cozy with Austin Mahone, to spending a night with Union J's George Shelley - sites have published it all. However, Selena says she's far from the rebel that reports make her look to be. She's still the type to bring home to parents, she says.

"You fall in love and it completely consumes you. So a part of you is broken when that's gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you're just like, forget it-I can do anything I want. I've tried it, and I've never been that girl," Gomez told Teen Vogue in an interview, adding that she's "always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night."

It seems like Selena may be talking from experience. After her breakup with Bieber, she donned a new and sexier image. Now, the singer seems to have grown into a woman, far from her teeny bopper days in Disney. But she reveals that although she has this new aura, and wears sexier clothing in her Stars Dance Tour, she's still grounded and is still a mommy's girl.

Talking about her mom, she says: "I'm pretty lucky. That's for sure. I mean, we're typical Gilmore girls: Half the time she'll annoy me, and half the time I'll annoy her." She adds, "I was very sheltered until about eighteen or nineteen. I still live at home, and I'm 21!"

Selena will be gracing the cover of Teen Vogue's November issue, out on stands on the 19th.
