It wasn't too long ago when Miley Cyrus got her first tattoo of simple words, "Just Breathe," under her ribcage when she was 17-years-old. Three years have passed, and the singer now has 19 in total all over her body, including her recent ink of her grandmother Loretta Finley's portrait on her arm.

The "We Can't Stop" singer took Twitter to show off her newest addition to her body art collection with the caption following, "Because I am her favorite & she is mine."

Miley Cyrus chose to use a vintage portrait of her beloved grandmother, which seemed to be taken when she was around the same age as the singer. Miley Cyrus decided to get her new tattoo done by her favorite and trusted tattoo artist Kat Von D to do the black and gray design, since the "LA Ink" star specializes in black and gray portraits.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer also posted an image of herself laying down on Kat's tattoo table as the famous artist was in the process of working on the design at her own private studio, along with her close-up tattoo photos.

Miley Cyrus was indeed very happy with the result. "@thekatvond is so ILL," she wrote alongside a photo that she took with the tattoo artist, while Kat Von D wrote "tattoo time" on her Twitter page.

The twerking singer was previously spotted leaving Kat's West Hollywood "High Voltage" parlor back in August with a black bandage taped to her arm. It looks like Miley Cyrus will continue to expand her tattoo collection.

"Yesterday was a day of making music, tattooing, and hangin w friends... Gonna repeat that today!" Cyrus tweeted.
