At the end of October, Rockstar Games announced new content for Grand Theft Auto Online, including the Beach Bum DLC update. Since then, gamers have been demanding a release date. On Saturday, Rockstar addressed the complaints.

Last week, Rockstar updated its Newswire page to announce the release of its stimulus package. In the post, Rockstar also mentioned the upcoming Beach Bum DLC pack.

"...stay tuned for more details on the Beach Bum update soon along with upcoming Social Club event announcements and more here at the Newswire," the post said.

Examiner.com reports that on Nov. 9, a gamer commented on the blog asking when the update would arrive. Rockstar responded by saying that the update would come next week.

"We're working on bringing the Beach Bum update to everyone asap and should have an update on timing next week," Rockstar said. "Heists are also in the works and we should have an update on them soon - please stay tuned!"

Next week begins on Nov. 17, however, and Rockstar originally said that the new content would be released early November. Today, a user named KiNGJames103 pointed this out stating, "Cause after the 15th its not considered early anymore."

"@KiNGJames103 Please stay tuned, we should have an update on the timing of Beach Bum release very soon," Rockstar responded.

The Beach Bum update includes beach-themed upgrades like cars, tattoos, hairstyles and clothing. The pack also includes new online jobs, including Deathmatch, Parachute, Gang Attack, Race and Last Team Standing missions. New jobs will be based around Los Santos' coastal resorts.

A Content Creator app and Grand Theft Auto Online Social Club Event have also been announced.
