On Saturday, Jennifer Ehle, who will play Carla in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation, answered questions about the sexy movie and her co-star, Jamie Dornan.

Ehle was at the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards on Saturday where she answered questions about how X-rated scenes from the S&M-filled erotic novel will translate onto the big screen.

"Being a visual medium, it's hard to tell from a script what something's going to be like," Ehle told E! Online.

Ehle may not be super familiar with the "mommy porn" that is E.L. James' bestselling book, as the Pride and Prejudice star did not read the novel until she landed the role as Anastasia Steele's (Dakota Johnson) mother.

"It's extraordinary," Ehle said, "I'm excited. I feel kind of like a tourist ... I'm along for the ride, as it were."

Dornan will play Christian Grey in the film, the hypersexual dominating businessman that seduces Anastasia with his kink and power. Originally, Charlie Hunnam was cast as Christian, so some wonder if Dornan will be able to shine in Hunnam's shadow.

"I didn't follow any of the drama, but I think Jamie will be amazing," Ehle said.

Since the casting mishap, things on the Fifty Shades of Grey set seem to have calmed down with most of the major roles cast. Victor Rasuk was recently cast as Jose, a photographer who dreams of making romantic Kodak moments with Anastasia, and Luke Grimes will play Elliot, Christian's brother. There are still a few roles that need to be filled including Anastasia's roommate, Kate, and Christian's bodyguard. Rumor has it that Katie Holmes has her eye on one of the cast's last spots.

Sam Taylor-Johnson will direct the Focus Features and Universal Pictures movie. The script was written by Kelly Marcel. Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and James herself will produce.

Filming for Fifty Shades of Grey was postponed until Dec 2. Despite this, the original Aug. 1, 2014 release date is reportedly still on.
