Victoria's Secret recently announced that Taylor Swift, who is currently touring the world for her album "Red," will be performing as the headliner for this year's Victoria's Secret fashion show, which will take place Wednesday night in New York City.

Although some rumors emerged in August that One Direction was chosen to perform at the fashion show's headliner act, it is now confirmed that Taylor Swift is actually the one who is set to give a performance at the annual fashion spectacular. The country-pop star will join a lineup that includes other musical guests, such as Fall Out Boy, indie pop band A Great Big World and UK newcomers Neon Jungle.

The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer will follow in the footsteps of Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars from 2012 VS show, while other past performers have included Kanye West, Jay Z, Maroon 5, Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake.

The 2013 catwalk show is expected to be the lingerie brand's biggest to date, featuring some familiar faces of Victoria's Secret Angels, including Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Lindsay Ellingson, Karlie Kloss, Behati Prinsloo, Alessandra Ambrósio and Doutzen Kroes all hitting the runway. Swanepoel has been given the honor of wearing the 'Royal Fantasy' bra, which the piece always showcased by the most famous Angel, worth $10 million.

The 2013 Victoria's Secret fashion show will be taped at New York City's Lexington Armory on Wednesday, November 13. The show is slated to air on December 10, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
