For first time since his girlfriend was found comatose and face down in a bathtub of water in their Georgia home, Nick Gordon is speaking out about the tragedy.

Gordon's lead attorney released a statement on Friday in which he vehemently denied reports his client was planning on taking legal actions to be able to visit Bobbi Kristina Brown, who remains hospitalized and still on a ventilator at Atlanta's Emory Hospital.

"In response to reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like it to be clear, he is not," attorney Randy Kessler said in a statement. "Mr. Gordon's only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina. He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon."

The only daughter born to Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has not regained consciousness after being rushed to the hospital on Jan. 31. TMZ alleges that Bobbi Kristina's organs are shutting down, and that her father wants her to remain on life support.

Police have now launched a criminal investigation of the situation with Gordon rumored to be at the center of the probe, according to People.

Us Weekly reports Gordon is also allegedly under investigation over unexplained injuries found on Bobbi Kristina's body. The website adds just four days before she rushed to the hospital unconscious, she was involved in a car accident where she drove her Jeep Liberty into oncoming traffic.

In addition, the Associated Press adds that in July of 2013, Gordon called 911 claiming Bobbi Kristina had fallen and was unresponsive. In his report, the officer noted that Bobbi Kristina appeared "disoriented."

Whitney Houston died almost three years to the day before her daughter's mishap. Authorities arrived at her Beverly Hills hotel to find her unconscious in a bathtub. Police later found drugs to be in Houston's system at the time of her death.
