Hugh Jackman was on the set of "Despierta America" to promote his new movie "Chappie." While on the show, the actor also gave two secrets for a successful marriage.

Jackman was happy to be on the show but said he could not wait to go home.

Jackman and his wife made a rule the couple would never spend more than two weeks apart. His wife said she saw too many relationships split up because of couples being separated too long.

"The other rule is that my wife is always right," Jackman said.

The host responded and told Jackman in Mexico they call that a mandilon, or a "hen-pecked husband" who lives under his wife's thumb.

Jackman ended the interview by taking part in a giant selfie with all the crew members of the show. In order to take the picture, a selfie stick was used.

Jackman's latest movie "Chappie" is about a former police robot that is reprogrammed to think and feel for itself.

Jackman will play a villain, who believes artificial intelligence is wrong, in the movie. Jackman mentions in the interview with "Despierta America" that Stephen Hawking and Bill Gates both came out against artificial intelligence. He also added his haircut in the movie was different, and his wife did not like it.

In the interview, Jackman says his wife is not into science fiction at all but cried when she saw the movie.

"Chappie" will come be released on March 6 at theaters nationwide. It will be rated R and will last exactly two hours.
