Mexican actress Eiza González has been making a splash since she's come to the United States.

Not only has she landed the role of El Rey Network's "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" as Santánico Pandemonium, but she also has become the face of Neutrogena.

On March 2, Neutrogena announced González would be the new beauty ambassador for the brand, where she joins other famous beauties, including Bella Thorne, who is of half-Cuban decent, Jennifer Garner, Kerry Washington and Hayden Panettiere.

González, 25, who has 1.6 million followers on Instagram and shy about sharing her beauty with her fans, is thrilled with becoming the new brand ambassador.

"I'm super excited to be a part of the Neutrogena family, especially since I've been using it ever since I was a teenager," she said. "I'm humbled to represent a brand that values the Latina culture and encourages women to embrace a natural, beautiful and healthy appearance."

On Feb. 27, the actress Instgrammed a photo with a caption, reading, "IM SOOOOOO EXCITED! Finally can tell you! Have been dying to share! Partnered w @neutrogena as their newest ambassador! Que emoción!#MisMomentosNeutrogena #NewFaceOfNeutrogena."

"From the moment we laid eyes on her we knew she would be a great representative of the brand and what Neutrogena truly embodies. She is the prime example of a strong Latina that has worked very hard to be where she is today. As an influential Latina role model, Eiza serves as an extension of the brand and a key vehicle in our communications surrounding skin health and beauty," said Michelle Freyre, general manager of Neutrogena.

On the same day of González's Neutrogena announcement, El Rey Network and Miramax also made a big announcement: They kicked off production on the sophomore season of Robert Rodriguez's "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" in Austin, Texas, which is also home to Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios.

All leading cast members will return to the series, including Wilmer Valderrama, D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Eiza González and Jesse Garcia. El Rey Network Founder and Chairman, filmmaker Robert Rodriguez will direct the first episode of the second season set to return late summer, 2015.

"From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" premiered last year as El Rey Network's first scripted drama and drew critical acclaim for the re-imagining of Rodriguez's cult classic film of the same name, released theatrically in 1996 by Miramax.
