Cuban-American actress Natalie Martinez now knows what it's like to be truly "SELF/LESS," and we're not talking about putting others before herself -- it's on a whole other psychological level.

The new trailer for Focus Features' summer nationwide release "SELF/LESS" has been released and it looks like a cool cerebral trip to the unknown.

"In this provocative psychological science fiction thriller, an extremely wealthy man (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley) dying from cancer undergoes a radical medical procedure that transfers his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). But all is not as it seems when he starts to uncover the mystery of the body's origin and the organization that will kill to protect its cause."

"I'm so excited! The trailer for my new movie with Ryan Reynolds & Sir Ben Kingsley @SELFLESSfilm is finally out! https://bit.ly/1aKHup8" Martinez tweeted out on March 4.

"SELF/LESS" also stars Matthew Goode ("The Good Wife," "The Imitation Game") Victor Garber ("The Flash"), Derek Luke ("Empire") and Michelle Dockery ("Downton Abbey").

Martinez played Mark Wahlberg's girlfriend in the crime thriller "Broken City" and "End of Watch" where she played actor Michael Peña's dedicated wife.

While she has appeared in several music videos and telenovelas, she's been keeping crime in check. In 2010-2011, Martinez starred in the TV crime drama "Detroit 1-8-7" as Detective Ariana Sanchez, following "CSI: NY" as Detective Jamie Lovato.

More recently, Martinez starred as Deputy Linda Esquivel in the TV drama "Under the Dome" as well as ABC's new show, "Secrets & Lies" where she plays Jess Murphy. The show also stars Ryan Philippe and Juliette Lewis.

"SELF/LESS," which is directed by Tarsem Singh ("The Cell", "Immortals") will hit theaters nationwide summer 2015. Check out the official trailer.
