The NBA will feature an exciting lineup of basketball on the night before Thanksgiving, which includes a much anticipated matchup between the Heat and Cavaliers in Cleveland. But of course, the center of attention is zoned in on the league's most popular athlete, LeBron James.

However, this time it's not just the media coverage that has everyone catering for LeBron. Rather, it looks like everyone will be catering for LeBron. The Miami Heat star is so influential that the team changed its postgame schedule just so the entire squad could make a pit stop at LeBron's Cleveland home for a Thanksgiving feast.

"We would have loved to have been here for the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas being here in Miami," James said. "We don't mind playing on those holidays. Wish we could have been here, but I am happy that I'm able to do something for the team for Thanksgiving."

According to ESPN, LeBron told his teammates to show up to dinner in casual attire. One of his teammates, Dwayne Wade, seemed to be looking forward to it.

"We're not at home with our families for Thanksgiving, but it couldn't work out any better that at least we could be in someone else's home," Wade said. "And it's a very nice home that we're going to, so I'll make sure I'll put on the right clothes and the right socks, gotta-take-your-shoes-off-at-the-door type of house."

Among other games that are scheduled for Wednesday night include the New York Knicks vs. the Los Angeles Clippers, which will be televised on NBA TV. To follow all of the latest live NBA action, check out NBA.com/live1.
