All of the show's original leading cast members are returning for the second season. Starring in the show are Wilmer Valderrama, D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Eiza González and Jesse Garcia.

El Rey Network founder, Chairman and filmmaker Robert Rodriguez is set to direct the first episode.

"It's great to be back for season two with the amazing cast and crew. We continue to push our story and characters into unexpected directions at a time when El Rey Network has greatly increased its distribution with six of the top eight distributors," Rodriguez said.

"We are also thrilled to expand our partnership with Miramax, which, based on the successful launch of the first season, has taken on a larger role in production this season and will be the lead studio on any future seasons," he added.

"From Dusk to Dawn: The Series" began last season and is El Rey Network's first scripted drama. It is based on Rodriguez's 1996 film "From Dusk to Dawn."
